There are different ways to get to Belmont High School from
various directions. Listed below are two ways:
|
1. From Route 2E
Straight to
the School Parking Lot
- Take Exit 59 off Route 2 to Route 60 (also known as Pleasant Street)
toward Belmont.
- At the first traffic light (Getty Gas Station on the intersection),
turn left onto Brighton Street.
- Pass a rail road, and turn right onto Hittinger Street.
- At the intersections, turn right onto the school parking lot.

2. From Storrow Drive
via Fresh Pond Parkway
|
- Going west on Storrow Drive toward Arlington.
- Bear right at the end of Storrow Drive. Follow signs to Arlington and
Belmont, onto
Fresh Pond Parkway.
- Pass through about 4-5 traffic lights. At the first rotary (after the Tokyo Restaurant, some stores, and a gas station on your right), turn left.
- At the second rotary (after Dunkin Donuts, etc.), bear left,
follow sign to Belmont Center.
Turn right onto Concord Avenue
(the Shell Gas Station should be on your right after you pass the second rotary to get onto Concord Avenue).
- Travel on Concord Avenue for about one mile.
Prepare to turn right after the second light at the intersections of
Concord Avenue and Blanchard Road/Brighton Street.
- Turn right onto Underwood Street (about 3-4 side streets down from Blanchard).
(If you drive pass the Clay Pit Pond, you have overshot the entrance, make
a U-turn back.)
- Turn left at end of Underwood Street to enter the school parking lot.
