Special Events 特別活動

     本校經常舉辦各項學藝活動，如演講，說故事，認字，常識，查字典比賽等。另配合中西節日舉辦各式慶祝活動，例如新年聯歡，元宵燈謎，萬聖節服裝遊行，中秋節，聖誕節，母親節等慶祝活動。此外，學校也不定期舉辦郊遊烤肉，滑雪等全家可參與的活動；以增進同學，師生及家庭間的感情，和提高學生對上中文學校興趣。

     Throughout the academic year, LCS holds various academic events to promote and foster its students' awareness and interest about the Chinese language and culture. Such events include: The Joy of Reading, Dictionary Usage Contest, Identifying Chinese Characters (Spelling Bee), Story Telling and Public Speech Contests, and many more.

The School also sponsors various cultural events, such as Spring (Chinese New Year) Festival, Yuan Xiao Lantern Riddles, and Halloween Costume Contest and Parade to celebrate both the Chinese and Western holidays.

During school breaks, LCS organizes school-wide family-oriented activities such as the Annual Picnic and the Ski trip to promote and foster a continuing close relationship among its students, teachers, and parents, in order for them to enjoy a total learning experience at the Lexington Chinese School.
